International 886 Problems - As i have posted on here before, i have recently bought a 1982 886 with an elwood fwa unit underneath it. This machine was bought with the knowledge of a few dilemma's with the ta. Since being home a few more issues have risen. My 886 coming into spring had 0 problems. In between first and second cutting installed a new (to me) monitor for my liquid app system on 575 nh. Tied into a constant. My ih 886 w/loader will not move or the hydaulics work when the tractor becomes warm. If i let the tractor cool down then it will work again for a short period of time until it gets. As long as the starter spins when bypassing the solenoid the most common problem is a worn contact on the battery cable stud. Remove the cable from the solenoid.
